Peridise Anal Toy
This unique and unisex Anal PC toy gently brings your attention to your pelvis and helps the body find a state of toned relaxation as it stimulates the pelvic floor. Upon inserting the head of the Peridise, the user can begin contracting PC/sphincter muscles to help draw rest of Peridise gently into the anus, taking a moment to let body get use to the sensation and relax around the toy. Once the body is a bit relaxed, the user can begin experimenting with contracting and relaxing muscles, which will tone but also help bring awareness to pelvic muscles. Great for hands-free use alone or with a partner, Peridise is scientifically and anatomically designed to bring relaxation and ease to your PC muscles instead of just strengthening them through tightening. Unlike other anal toys, Peridise is designed to start with the larger size and graduate to the smaller model to relax muscles and achieve heightened sensation. Perfect for anybody looking to attain great pelvic muscle health or wishing to experiment with the sensations of anal play. Small: 4” long x ¾” at head, Large: 4” x 7/8” at head. White Hard Plastic.

I'd like to start by saying that I am not an "anal" kind of girl. Don't get me wrong—the Mr. and I have tried and tried again. He is desperate to poke me in the pooper and will do anything and everything to do so, but being able to relax is not my strong suit. So, when I received this month's package, I took a long, deep breath and Hubby let out a long, deep guffaw.
The Peridise Unisex Anal PC Toy is not particularly intimidating upon first glance. The beginner's set comes with two little toys that are each about 4 inches in length. One has a slimmer, less bulbous design while the other one is wider with a round ball-like tip. Each has a little handle on the end for an easy grip, and they are both made of a hard white plastic. The instructions state that these little guys were designed to help the user develop anorectal muscles and strengthen the pelvic floor. It promises that, with controlled and conscious contractions, the Peridise Anal Toy will intensify pelvic sensation.
My goal with this toy was to relax and experience pleasure. As a beginner in the anal department, it was not an easy task. I started with a good, stiff drink, a vibrator, and lots of lube. As I began to relax and feel good, my husband happily and hungrily inserted the larger Peridise. At first, there was a burning sensation and, dare I say, the sensation that I was going to... um... relieve myself, but all of the sudden my muscles relaxed and in it went. It turned out to be a good experience. Between the steady work of the vibrator, the Peridise, and the intimate connection between my husband and me, the "treasure trove of nerve endings in the anal canal" really intensified my orgasms. My fears are gone to the Mr.'s great delight!
For $68.00, the Peridise Anal PC Toy is a good investment for folks who are interested in getting to know the benefits of anal play. These toys are not big or intimidating, and the instructions are clear and concise. With a patient partner, some relaxation techniques, and, in my case, a powerful vibrator, beginning to experiment with anal play need not be stressful or scary. The Peridise Anal Toy is a great addition to our toy collection and our journey into experimentation.

June Valentine
June Valentine is your typical housewife. Married for 13 years, she has three children and lives in a quiet suburban community. She started her sexual life quite prudishly: missionary style in a hushed manner only to be done in the middle of the night so as not to disturb the children or—God forbid—the neighbors! As she has gotten older, wiser, and more confident, she's come to realize that sex is—dare she say it—phenomenal when had adventurously, wildly, and with the added benefit of toys. June no longer confines herself to the bedroom, and she can't stand missionary style... She craves the outdoors and loves all things vibrating. She started out with one fluorescent orange vibrator and has since moved on to an entire box of toys of various shapes and sizes. Bullets, rabbits, cock rings, handcuffs, dildos, to name only a very few, are all tucked away in her little box of goodies—to be used when the moment strikes. Adding new things to her box will be a pleasure. June eagerly looks forward to experimenting with whatever devices are sent to her.I already know several people who own different variations of the Aneros anal stimulators. These toys are by no means cheap (this one sells for a healthy $68), but they are designed to deliver unsurpassed orgasms. My friends swear by them. Any opportunity to enhance an orgasm sounds like fun to me.
The Peridise is visually very unique. It looks like some sort of alien anal probe or designer Q-tip. As you probably know from my previous reviews, I do not like to play on the large side of the anal toy spectrum. So at first glance, for many the Peridise will probably look too small to satisfy. However, this is not the case as the Peridise doesn’t work like a typical dildo or butt plug stretching your hole. Rather the curves and balls of the Peridise at various depths within your asshole provide you with pleasurable sensations as you relax and contract your inner muscles. Yes, thankfully for me, the Peridise is much more subtle than jamming a dildo in and out of your butt, which makes this the ideal toy for someone who is still new to anal play.
The Peridise set contains two toys in different sizes—a larger one for beginners and a smaller one for more advanced persons. While this may seem counterintuirive, the reason is that the smaller size requires a greater amount of muscle control. Clever! (So this actually gives me something to work towards as I get better and better at tweaking my ass muscles.) The bulbous tip isn't incredibly difficult to insert (just use lots of lube and RELAX. Whatever you do, don't force it!). I generally have a hard time pushing things into my hole, but that was not the case here at all. The rounded bulges along the shaft really do gently massage your insides and add stimulation while you masturbate. When you have the Peridise in your ass, every curve and every angle serves a purpose. And because it's hands free, you can multitask while using it. You simply contract and relax your sphincter muscles, which causes the Peridise to do its work. It's really that simple: insert, contract your anal muscles, and enjoy the ride. That's it. The instructions encourage you to experiment with different strengths and durations.
The Peridise is not merely a sex toy. Oh no! It was also designed to stimulate good anal health. It's a great tool that promotes anal muscle strengthening and toning. Men can also use kegel exercises to help achieve stronger erections and gain greater control over ejaculation. Now who said exercise wasn't fun??
The unique features of the Peridise are:
- It is a unisex anal toy, designed to be used by both men and women.
- It's easy and comfortable to use.
- It's small making it convenient for travel.
- It's great for beginners as well as advanced users.
- It promotes anal muscle strengthening and toning (and who couldn't use that!?!).
- It's a nice accent to other sexual play.
- You can use it alone or with a partner.
After playing with the Peridise on several occasions, I'm beginning to think there might be something to this whole anal sex thing after all.

Muscle Squirt
I am your typical San Francisco homo: tattooed, hairy, hunky, and worked out. I love men, and I love sex. Sexually, I identify as a top. At 37, I've yet to get in touch with my bottom side and fear anything getting remotely deeper in my ass than someone's tongue. Although I am sexually open, I will admit I am a bit of a prude and not your typical toy user. Frankly, I have never expressed much interest in sex toys aside from gawking in awe and wonder at the fisting dildos in the local sex shops. In fact, I still have the Triple Ripple Butt Plug I was gifted five years ago for my birthday in its original package. It is my mission here to see if sex toys can and will become a fun and exciting component to my sex life. Happily, I am up for the task. The Peridise made by Aneros is the first toy from this company that I have tried. I have heard and read rave reviews about the toys this company produces, but for some silly reason, I have always thought of them as toys made for boys and not for me. Reflecting back on that assumption, I see the absurdity of this thought—especially for a woman like myself. I have never abided by gender normative rules with toys, clothes, dating, or careers, so why I did this time is unknown even to me. Luckily, the ToolBox shook me out of my binary box and reminded me that most anal products are just as pleasurable for women as well as men, or anyone whose gender falls somewhere in between.
Although this was the first time I inserted an Aneros product in my rear, it was certainly not the first time my rump has been bumped. I have been enjoying anal play for the past ten years with human penises, adult toys, and even the occasional organic fruit or vegetable. With that said, it is also important to note that although I am no anal virgin, I was very pleased with the arrival of this toy since my back-end has been on holiday for a bit too long. I was ready to reintroduce ass play back ihnto my sexual repertoire, and the Peridise ended up being the perfect toy for my transition.
After thoroughly reading the instructions for the Peridise (which I’m mandated to do as a toy tester), I quickly realized this company had much more knowledge about my ass than I had. For instance, I didn’t know what a “peristaltic response” or “anorectal muscles” were and in all honesty I had never thought of using a rectal syringe to apply lube to my inner rectum before inserting a toy or penis. I have always known how important lube is for anal play, but I have only tried inserting it with my finger. (Can you guess what my next present for myself will be?)
I was impressed that one of the first recommendations before using the Peridise was to cleanse both internally and externally. Although I always made sure my bowels were emptied and I was clean prior to anal play, a proper anal cleanse (otherwise known as an enema) is a fairly new practice for me. Of course, now that I have tried it, I just want to recommend it to everyone! Knowing that I was 110% clean within my anal canal produced a high level of emotional relaxation that I had not experienced before with this type of play. My increased confidence from knowing the toy was not going to come out of me really dirty helped me pay closer attention to my muscles and sensations instead of worrying about how embarrassed I might soon be. No matter how open minded I may be, I still am shy at times about my bodily functions.
All in all, I was not only very pleased with the Peridise and its two delightful sizes of anal trainers, but my main excitement revolved around the fact that this ToolBox testing session has opened a new sexual door for me. I realized that just because I have had anal sex many times over the years doesn’t mean that I really know that much about it or was ever truly connected to my body while it was happening. I would never ignore learning about my vagina, so why have I done it with my ass, I wonder. I guess some taboos take a bit longer for their stigma to be penetrated than others, but when it happens, I can pretty much assure you that your orgasms will be taken to the next level.
