Je Joue has created an innovative technology with the release of the G-Ki g-spot vibrator. I realize how difficult it must be to come up with new ideas for sex toys—I mean really how many vibrators can the world tolerate?!? What makes this one different from other vibrators is its “locking adjustable joints that can be angled up to 60 degrees” in order to conform to an individual’s unique internal shape and size. In case it is unclear as to why an adjustable joint is such a useful engineering component for a vibrator, it is important to note that this design takes on the daunting task of stimulating both the g-spot at the same time as the clitoris. The manufacturers of this toy also claim it is effective with the simultaneous stimulation of the male prostate as well as the perineum, but I did not experiment with this. For my review, I focused on the sensations it produced on the inside and outside of my vagina.

Although the maneuvering of the joints on this toy took a couple of attempts to master, I found it to be very logically designed and smooth to adjust once I understood its subtle nuisances. It is clear that this toy takes some patience to use. If the consumer tries to just muscle through the adjustment of the joints, it will no doubt break the technology that makes this toy so unique. This is a perfect reason why reading the instructions on adult toys is so important. Times have changed, and this is not your mother’s vibrator! Even the rechargeable cord that attaches to the toy will remind the user of the cool magnetic power cord that many Apple products have.

Aside from the innovative “cool factor” of this toy, I am pleased to report that it does follow through on its promise to stimulate both my g-spot and clitoris at the same time. It should be noted that this happened most prominently when I had another person helping me to test the toy. Once I adjusted the toy to its most extreme angle and turned up the vibe to its highest setting, I found it difficult to hold it tightly inside me without the aid of an extra hand between my legs. When I was able to just lie back and have my helper fully insert the toy inside my vagina as well as hold it firmly in place, I had a big “oh my!” moment at the fantastic pleasure it was generating. It was clear to my helper that as long as the toy was held firmly in place, I could derive serious g-spot stimulation. In fact, once we mastered the correct placement of the toy inside and outside my body, I came much faster and deeper than usual. When I tried to recreate this same experience with the toy on my own, I simply could not operate the product as effectively, and thus my body was not nearly as relaxed or excited as my attempts with my helper had been. For this reason, I recommend this toy more for couples than individuals.
