A Boob Job in a Bottle?

What is there to say about this, except that it seems kind of inevitable? An English beauty and skin care company named Rodial is marketing a cream that they promise women will not only make their breasts grow up to half a cup size, but increase in firmness and "lift" within 56 days of first application. According to their ad copy, the logic that's supposed to make this work is as follows:

Boob job works with your natural fat cells. As the fat cells move around the body after eating, boob job "blocks" the fat into the area where the product has been applied, so the bust and décolleté areas. You will see a gradual increase in cup size within 56 days as well as gaining an instant lifting and firming effect. Increase in cup size by 8.4%.

Rodial boob job is based on a natural phytosterol, derived from an Asian root that has no hormonal activity which works on the skin and the layer of fat beneath and is 100% paraben free.

One surgeon interviewed by the Daily Mail expressed skepticism:

Dalia Nield, a consultant plastic surgeon at the London Clinic, said it was ‘highly unlikely’ the cream would increase a woman’s bust size and questioned the amount of information provided by Rodial.

She said: ‘Similar products have not worked in the past.

‘The manufacturers are not giving us any information on tests they have carried out. They are not telling us the exact ingredients in the product and how they increase the size of the breast.’

The doctor even claimed the gel could be ‘potentially dangerous’.

‘It may even harm the skin and the breasts – we need a full analysis,’ she added.

The cream goes for £125, or about $198 per bottle. Those who feel moved to purchase it may drop by the CarnalNation offices afterward to discuss acquiring the deed for a very nice bridge.
